Externally Pressurized Expansion Joints

TCH externally pressurized expansion joints are the perfect solution to absorb thermal expansion and contraction in smaller I.D. systems.

Product Details

Constructed with multi-ply series 300 Stainless Steel bellows and carbon steel shroud, our expansion compensators come in a variety of end fittings. End Fittings include stainless or carbon steel NPT, flange, weld, and groove. Copper piping systems using multi-ply bronze bellows with carbon shroud and copper sweat end configurations are also available. These joints have a rating of 300 PSIG working pressure at 650°F and axial movements of 4” compression and ¾” extension. I.D.’s are available from 2” – 12”. All expansion compensators include an internal anti-torque device.

Applications include,
but are not limited to:
  • vertical risers
  • return and supply lines
  • heating and cooling systems
  • steam and steam condensate
  • domestic hot water
  • chilled water
  • heating water

Advantages:
  • In-stock
  • Long life dependability
  • Compact to save space
  • Eliminates bellow squirm
  • Requires no maintenance
  • Compensates for thermal growth
  • Domestic and custom available
